Born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Katha Blackwell knew at a young age she wanted to help people, but was not completely sure until she saw her mother endure years of domestic violence. From then on, it has been Blackwell's goal to empower women to break free from abuse.
Blackwell has a Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago and has provided counseling and advocacy services for abused women for 10 years.
Additionally, Blackwell published her first book, Not Another Victim: A Women’s Guide to Avoiding a Bad Relationship, not too long ago.
Katha currently resides in North Georgia with her loving husband, Eric, of 8 years and their two children Elias and Eliana.
